Atria Mier holds three master's degrees, in Human Rights, in Public Health, and in Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping. Her areas of expertise include gender and diversity, M&E, capacity building, planning and management, and policy-oriented research. She has worked for several bilateral agencies (AECID, Expertise France, GiZ, SIDA), for several INGOs such as Save the Children, International Medical Corps and ActionAid, for universities, for United Nations agencies such as UNICEF, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, UN Women, WHO, the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and Girls and UNFPA, for think tanks, academia, and consultancy firms. She has experience with DG ECHO, DG INTPA and DG NEAR. She is flexible and patient. She is a team worker but is also used to working autonomously. She loves multicultural environments and is highly committed. She applies an intersectional feminist approach in her work, and in life. Always seeking new challenges.
