Lana is a finance and partnerships specialist with over 20 years of experience in financial management, financial planning, auditing, risk management, grants management, compliance, governance, and organizational capacity strengthening across the humanitarian and development sectors. She has held senior leadership roles with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), World Learning, Oxfam Novib, War Child Holland, Search for Common Ground, and Sawa for Development & Aid. She has managed complex donor-funded programs supported by the World Bank, USAID, ECHO, OCHA, and other international donors, with expertise in budgeting, financial planning, risk management, audits, donor compliance, and partner capacity building. She has also designed and delivered financial management training for NGOs and local partners, helping strengthen organizational systems and governance. Lana holds an MBA and a Master's degree in Gender Interdisciplinary Studies from the Lebanese American University (LAU).
